What is our rope advice for Hanse sailing yachts?

Do you need to replace ropes on your Hanse sailing yacht?  We have the following rope advice for halyards, sheets and mooring lines. Per Hanse model and boat length Premium Ropes recommends the following rope products. 

Up to 35 feet

Hanse 315, 345, 348: We recommend our Cruiser XTS Grip for the genoa sheet and main sheets. If your Hanse has a self-tacking jib, we can easily splice the sheet to your needs. Choose our Cruiser XTS for gennaker or spinnaker sheets. For halyards we advise choosing Cruiser XTS. If you want more preformance and no elongation choose our S-Cup for halyards. Our 12 mm ready-made dockline is an excellent choice for mooring lines. The ideal choice for genoa furling systems and mainsail furling systems on Hanse yachts is our Cruising Furl. 

Between 35 and 40 feet

Hanse 355, 358, 360, 360 ST, 370e, 385, 388:  We advise Cruiser XTS Grip for the main sheet and genoa sheets. For the genoa halyard, choose S-Cup. The main halyard can be made from Cruiser XTS or S-Cup (more performance and no elongation). Choose our Cruiser XTS for gennaker or spinnaker sheets. For mooring lines, choose our 14 mm ready-made dockline. The ideal choice for genoa furling systems and mainsail furling systems on Hanse yachts is our Cruising Furl. 

Between 40 and 50 feet

Hanse 410, 415, 418, 458, 460:  We advise our Cruiser XTS Grip for the main sheet and genoa sheets. For the genoa halyard and the main halyard choose S-Cup. For mooring lines, choose the 16 mm ready-made dockline. The best choice for genoa furling systems and mainsail furling systems on Hanse yachts is our Cruising Furl. If your Hanse has a furling boom system, then choose our Continuous Pro rope. 

Larger than 50 feet

Hanse 505, 508, 510, 548, 588, 590: We advise S-Cup for the main sheet and genoa sheets. Choose our Cruiser XTS for gennaker or spinnaker sheets. For halyards, choose S-Cup. For mooring lines, choose the 18 mm high quality dockline. For the Hanse 588 and 590 we advise the 20 mm dockline. The dockline can be tailor-made to your need, just select it on the product page when ordering. The best choice for genoa furling systems and mainsail furling systems on Hanse is our Cruising Furl. If your Hanse has a furling boom system, then choose our Continuous Pro rope.
