My name is Floris Lampe. I’m a sailor and rigger at Premiumropes, where I work hands-on with modern ropes and splicing for a wide range of yachts.
Over the years I’ve gained a lot of practical experience with different rope constructions and splicing techniques. I enjoy sharing that knowledge and showing that, with the right explanation, splicing is something you can learn yourself.
During the online workshop, I’ll take you through the complete process step by step. You can follow along, ask questions and make the splice yourself.
This online workshop rope splicing is very easy to follow. The multiple-camera setup makes every step clear and you receive useful tips and feedback throughout the workshop. Interactive, practical and a lot of fun — recommended for beginners and advanced sailors.
The webinars are hands-on and allow you to learn important splices within the course of a few hours. You'll get instantaneous feedback on your own splices. A well-spent evening for any boat owner!

I learned how to splice, which eliminated the need for less attractive and weaker knots. I also fastened my Low Friction Rings perfectly with continuous loops of Dyneema.
